Open for Submissions!

Red Flag Poetry is currently accepting submissions for our monthly poetry postcards and as well as poems for Poetry Express, our digital poetry arm.

We are looking for poetry that employs interesting and innovative language, images, or content. For our print postcards we value shorter work for the logistical ease of printing it on our postcards to help supply our readers with that quick poetry fix on the go (or the trip in from the mailbox). For Poetry Express we want similar poetry, but here we want to see your longer works. We read all submissions.

Please submit no more than three (3) poems in .doc format to [email protected]  no later than December 15th.  

Please attach each poem to the email individually and title the file “Poem Title” – Red Flag Submission. Please remove all author identifying marks from the documents to maintain a blind reading. Additionally, please address the subject line in your email “poetry submission.”

Finally, please include a brief 2-3 sentence bio in the body of your email.
